Substrate ("we", "us", or "our") provides job management software for sign, vinyl, and apparel shops. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and organization name when you register.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the app, to help us improve the product.
- Job and business data — quotes, customers, suppliers, invoices, and other content you enter into Substrate.
- Support messages — if you contact us for help, we retain the message and any follow-up correspondence.
How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Substrate service.
- To send transactional emails related to your account (proof notifications, invoices, team invitations).
- To respond to support requests.
- To improve and develop the product.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Third-party services
- QuickBooks — if you connect QuickBooks, customer and invoice data is synced to Intuit's platform under their privacy policy.
- Resend — we use Resend to deliver transactional emails. Message content is transmitted through their service.
- Cloudflare — our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare, which may log request metadata for security and performance purposes.
Data retention
We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, you may request deletion of your data by emailing hello@runsubstrate.com.
Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can update your account information at any time from within the app. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, contact us at hello@runsubstrate.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or through the app. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
